Visiting Scholar at the Blavatnik School of Government
Christoph Demmke is Visiting Professor at the University of Potsdam (D). Besides he acts as scientific advisor to the German Ministry of the Interior the Budgetary Committee of the European Parliament in the field of Comparative Civil Service Reforms and Public Service Ethics.
Prior to this, he was Interim Professor at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen, Senior Scientific Advisor and Head of Unit in the OECD, Paris (F), Professor of Comparative Public Administration at the European Institute of Public Administration (NL) and Guest Professor at the College of Europe in Brugge (B) und the University of Maastricht (NL).
He holds a PhD in Administrative Sciences from the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer (D), a Diplome (DEHEI) in International Relations (F) and a Master in Political Sciences from the University of Hamburg (D). Besides he was Fellow at the Harvard Law School, the German Ministry of the Interior and visiting fellow at the American University and University of Georgia (USA). He is a long standing advisor to the European Union Presidency and the EUPAN network, almost all EU Institutions and national Governments on HR reforms and Ethics. Mr Demmke is author of many publications in the field of comparative HR reforms and ethics.
