Institutional Corruption, Integrity and Trust Conference, 2019

dsc

Description

Current politics across the world has ignited an interest within political theory in three related topics: official corruption, public integrity, and trust. Furthermore, discussion about each concept has involved controversy about their application to institutional, as well as individual agents. However, no event nor publication in political theory (as opposed to other disciplines), has sought to bring these three debates into direct exchange. In this conference, we will seek to not only advance the maturing, contemporary discussions of the meaning of these three concepts, but begin to explore their inter-relationship, both conceptually and normatively.
